For my first studio ever, this sticky “doormat” is made for the entrance. 出入平安 is a blessing: wish you safety entering or leaving, a phrase commonly seen on Chinese doormats. In this presence when free mobility is increasingly a luxury for so many, may you have peace when you pass by my door, but let me keep the dust you bring from the paths you tread. Let me hold a part of you tightly and dearly.
